We had a quick getaway from Houston and stayed at a beautiful property surrounded by rolling meadows and mature trees. The farm had horses and cows, providing a peaceful escape from the city. Skeeter, the person we interacted with, was welcoming and made us feel at home. Even though our trail ride didn't happen due to some issues, we still enjoyed the rustic accommodation, the pool, and the grills available. I'll recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

I recently stayed at Blisswood for a weekend getaway with my grandkids. We loved the isolation and lack of technology, which allowed us to truly reconnect and spend quality time together. The fishing was fantastic, and the abundance of wildlife like bison, deer, and emu made for a unique and enjoyable experience. Mr. Skeeter, the host, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The quiet atmosphere and cozy cabin made it a perfect retreat. We also had a blast with archery and skeet shooting.
